TLDR: Seeking 1.111 ETH to produce the fourth and final Flowers for Memories pop up of 2024 in Marfa, TX during Art Blocks Weekend.

The Flowers for Memories stand was an idea I came up with earlier this year to coincide with the return of Trevor Traynor's irl NEWSSTAND...which we rebuilt in the back of a pizza shop during ETH Denver. The bit was simple. tell me a story about flowers and i'll make you a bouquet.

All stories were then recorded down in real time...frantically scribbled into a series of pocket books I keep in my apron. Never could I have expected the experience to be as intimate and personal as it became. Complete strangers sharing stories of love and loss. Many memories hadn't been considered for years.

Between Denver, Los Angeles, and my most recent presence at The Park x NOUNS activation in Idyllwild for FWB FEST, the Flowers For Memories stand has become one of the more unique irl applications of proposals in action. Through the symbol of the flower, this project is able to reach audiences that range from diehard crypto-natives, #onchain skateboarders, and coffee enthusiasts...all the way to retired Ukrainian women living in Venice Beach who will never sign a transaction in their lives. #IYKYK

Funding from this proposal will go towards the dried floral supply for the event, travel / housing, + documentation. Archive of all the floral events this year will be published in the upcoming THURSDAY EDITION of the Friday Press.
