tl:dr: Sponsor Bagels and Builders for 1 eth at a nounish DAO meetup at Art Basel Miami, December 7 as part of a larger all day event focusing on building in the Nouns ecosystem.

During Art Basel week in Miami, Lil Nouns will be hosting an all day meetup on Thursday, December 7 at Hodler Gallery in the Wynwood art district in Miami.

BuilderDAO has an opportunity to be the primary sponsor of Bagels and Builders morning meetup as well as being a part of the events for the full day, including on all social media and promotion, as well as a dedicated gallery screen to showcase BuilderDAO, Nouns Builder and DAOs built on Nouns Builder. There are only 4 spots available for sponsorship with dedicated screen.

Tentative Event Plan:

10 am to Noon: Bagels & Builders meetup for BuilderDAO, PurpleDAO, Lil Nouns and other nounish DAOs, as well as Farcaster builders.

12:30 pm: "Building with Nouns" Lunch & Learn about building with Lil Nouns, Nouns and Nounish DAOs including BuilderDAO and Nouns Builder (tentatively with a live prop house)

3 pm: possible other panel -- in discussion

6 - 9 pm: PizzaDAO happy hour

The space will be open as a co-working/meet-up space throughout the day, with streams and spaces of the panels and interviews with guests. The gallery screens will rotate BuilderDAO/Nouns Builder art and information througout the day.

BuilderDAO and Nouns Builder will be the primary sponsor of Bagels and Builders morning event plus overall sponsorship of the whole event, including curation of one of the eight gallery screens to feature BuilderDAO and Nounish DAO art and info throughout the day.

We also plan to stream the panel events to allow for virtual attendance for communities who sponsor the event and for sharing the recording after the event for continued promotion.

In addition, BuilderDAO will be featured on all marketing and content over the next two months leading up to the event and photo/video content from this event will be shared. This should get great attention from our target audience.

Powering Onchain Communities. The BuilderDAO mission is to develop DAO infrastructure as a public good, enabling decentralized, inclusive, and transparent decision-making processes that empower onchain communities to shape their collective futures.

This proposal furthers that mission by exposing new builders to Nouns Builder and providing an opportunity to feature BuilderDAO and DAOs built on Nouns Builder to a DAO/NFT centric audience. This event also gives existing members of nounish DAOs and opportunity to connect IRL.

Treasury Impact

The impact on treasury is minimal at a 1 eth ask and is expected to provide an outsized return.

Team

The event planning team from Lil Nouns includes two BuilderDAO members (Lil Mike Good and Prof Werder) plus 3 other trusted builders in the ecosystem (Index, Cardno and Snax from PizzaDAO). There is no admin budget for this event and all funds will be used towards event expenses.
