I’m voting FOR because City Nouns blends culture, creativity and onboarding in a way that drives genuine community growth. As an event curator, I’m excited to use Global Pizza Day as our launchpad to build real-world connections, bridge traditional art communities with Builder DAO, and showcase how creative collaboration can drive lasting impact

We built this city to align strongly with Builder DAO’s mission and to score highly across critical areas of my evaluation rubric (impact on the ecosystem, feasibility, financial sustainability, accountability, treasury growth)—it ranks at a 4.8/5—with readiness to effectively deploy resources, generate protocol rewards for Builder and expand the protocol’s footprint through a scalable, repeatable model. The City Nouns initiative kicks off with a high-visibility launch event on Global Pizza Day (May 22), which will lead into a series of summer events (because Mary is a well-known local event planner!) with the plan for exciting incentives for token holders…stay tuned! I believe that our blend of immediate activation and long-term growth positions us to drive substantial value for Builder DAO!

Hyperlocal experiments FTW

Aligned with Prof's feelings on this. This is out of scope of how we would typically seed a new DAO but concept is solid and will hopefully bring more DAO participants to the ecosystem.

I’m voting FOR because City Nouns is a launchpad for unlocking deeper utility from tokens beyond governance. My focus is on building frameworks that allow tokens to generate real-world value—whether through liquidity pools, staking incentives, or creative partnerships. City Nouns is a scalable model with the potential to prove out new mechanisms that add tangible value to the Builder DAO ecosystem.

I think the experiment is worth the cost right now

Crazy cool new DAO. Can't wait to see how they leverage their mission to support other DAOs in the eco-system!

I'm going to abstain on the vote because I have mixed feelings on this: -- I like the City Nouns concept and appreciate Zamees contributions to BuilderDAO and know that he will be a good steward for any grant -- BUT if this were any other prop for a grant for a DAO just coming into existence, I'd be against. We've had issues in the past with this type of approach. That said -- I appreciate the work and think that City Nouns will be a fun experiment to watch so I do not want to vote against it and am leaving it to the other members to make this call. I just do not want anyone to see this as a precedent as I would definitely vote against 99% of brand new daos seeking funding this soon after founding. This is likely the sole exception to that rule.
