Excited for the opportunity to help bring these bots to Farcaster. ⌐◨-◨

Seems excessive to use 6 ETH / $10k (14% of our treasury) to build a few bots when there's people like Greg and Boro who can do it for free. I understand what BotFrens is trying to do, but I believe we don't need to spend $10k for this, I would vote in favor for it if it wasn't a good chunk of the treasury, much love!

Getting updates posted directly to the Farcaster protocol will increase visibility of Purple and improve our ability to recruit new members. The success of the #purple-botupdates channel has increased my confidence that this type of update moves the needle in terms of discoverability and participation.

I don't think this is an efficient use of funds to further the farcaster ecosystem. I prefer retroactive funding for the many developers already building on top of fc.

I verified via Twitter that this proposal really was submitted by the BotFrens team, just to be safe. Their success working with Nouns DAO already is one reason I trust this team to deliver, and it seems like a useful tool.
