DAO Workshops: held three DAO workshops to correspond with the L2 launch and Base's Onchain Summer initiative.

I entered BuilderDAO in the Onchain Summer and Build on Base Prop House rounds. Although we did not win, we did have a great showing in both; placed 22 of 147 in Onchain Summer round and 7th of 143 in the Build on Base round. These prop house rounds gave us some great visibility of our effort around L2 even without the wins.

I worked with...Nouns Builder...and my experience going through their DAO process was really impressive. I was like wow this is an incredibly organized group...this is a DAO... that functions.

I've been working with a few different groups that will be launching DAOs that I think will provide fun stories and creative use of Nouns Builder. One such initiative is FreeKevin.wtf using nilli.com to encourage Pixelmon to allow for Kevin to be released as cc0 and then launch a DAO on Nouns Builder to fund proliferation. The auctions will be paused unless conditions are met via Nilli which is an interesting way to judge whether or not there is a Minimum Viable Community for a DAO. This has been a fun project that is in soft launch mode at the moment and I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops, as well as seeking other creative uses of Nouns Builder.

With all we have going on, I'm excited to continue in the Community Resident role. Over the next three months, my focus will include:

Launch gamified experiences for DAO exploration/education. The L2 DAO options offer new opportunities to have fun with DAOs as a way to experience our platform and encourage creativity. I have two games that I'll be launching soon.
Increase Builder Guild membership with a goal to double active membership by year end.
Expand BuilderBox content with live streams on Unlonely and recordings via NFTs on Zora.
Design a monthly DAO workshop as an ongoing education tool.
Record a minimum of three mini video tutorials (approx 3-5 min each) on using different aspects of Nouns Builder and release as NFT editions on Zora.
Continue weekly office hours to provide a consistent space for Q&A as well as prop discussions when needed.
Seek out opportunities to showcase Nouns Builder at IRL events (e.g. Art Basel Miami - in talks now) and in media.
Continue discord management to provide an easy place to find assistance as well as connect with other BuilderDAO members.
Continue to use BuilderDAO Warpcast channel to extend communication around proposals and answer questions for those seeking guidance around BuilderDAO.
Continue work with the Ops working group in regards to administrative issues with the

I've been asked by a few people to create a prop for six months but I think the three month increments allow for a check-in for both the DAO and me to ensure continued alignment.

During the Nouns fork, I was interviewed a few times and had to address the idea that the fork proves "DAOs don't work; DAOs are dead." I've never been more confident in the opposite. We've hit a nice stride and I hope that we can continue this pace to demonstrate the power of onchain communities.
