TLDR

MúsicaW3 is organizing its exhibition "Parallel Resonances," which consists of three distinct spaces: an exhibition room, a panel discussion in an auditorium, and two music festivals. The purpose is to highlight the work of Latin American artists and present them in a highly public context in the country while showcasing the virtues of the blockchain ecosystem.

PROPOSAL

The MúsicaW3 community is proud to announce that we are presenting our exhibition "Parallel Resonances" at the prestigious Centro Cultural Kirchner in Buenos Aires (https://www.instagram.com/cckcultura), the largest in Latin America and the most important in Argentina.

The event features multiple exhibition stages from July 13 to 28, encompassing three main spaces:

• An exhibition room with a microcinema to present the music videos of our two latest collective drops (https://zora.co/collect/base:0x0e0bb6f9a9b237d7140b0729469bea37c237b549. The second will be released during the first half of July during the exhibition) and a series of screens where we will showcase Augmented Reality featuring artists from the Roses n Kittens community (https://linktr.ee/rosesnkittens) along with various latin artists selected through an open call. Additionally, there will be other musical experiences like the 360º video clip presented on Oculus by the music duo “Duo Dø“ and multiple printed infographics on the walls of the room to raise awareness about the importance of onchain music for musicians' sovereignty.

• A discussion panel in an auditorium about Music in Web3 with speakers from the MúsicaW3 community and active participants from the onchain music ecosystem in Argentina, providing quality education on how to develop careers within blockchain platforms.

• Two music festivals in the dome of the Cultural Center. One for the opening featuring acoustic shows of various musical genres and one for the closing with an electronic theme.

About MúsicaW3 and Resonancias Paralelas (Parallel Resonances):

MúsicaW3 (www.beacons.ai/musicaw3) is a community of independent Latin American artists aiming to generate free, high-quality content and education for artists seeking to develop their careers within Web3. We have been working for over a year and a half on education and content creation and through our projects such as collective drops, the course "El método Web3", the Buenos Aires Songcamp, and the multiple conferences and events we have participated in, we have enabled more than 100 Latin American musicians to have their first experiences minting their songs. In the context of our exhibition "Resonancias Paralelas", we set out to curate spaces through our own relationship with technology and art where we can exchange ideas with people already knowledgeable in crypto, as well as provide free support and information to new enthusiasts. Argentina stands out as a very favorable hub for blockchain technology adoption given its socioeconomic characteristics, and we believe in the transformative power of culture as part of a mass adoption process. In this way, we want to showcase the alternative path to the current music and art industry and demonstrate that there are new ways to engage with our content. Hence, the name "Resonancias Paralelas" implies the discovery of these models accompanied by a physical and digital community of people interested in these new proposals.

BUDGET

We are requesting 1 ETH to cover all the expenses related to: equipment rentals, stage decoration, fees for musicians performing and speakers at the talks, graphic design and promotional material, travel expenses for the production team and musicians, and audiovisual coverage.

Energy Retribution

To reciprocate the financing from Energy for Parallel Resonances, besides mentioning the brand on all promotional flyers and adding the name Energy to the title of the music festivals (MúsicaW3 x Energy Festivals), we envision the possibility of creating an audiovisual record of the live shows to mint as a drop for Energy. We also believe this is a great opportunity considering the current lack of live sets on Zora.
