TL;DR

Seeking Scout Tier support (0.75ETH) for 3rd Edition of web3 scavenger hunt (previous ones at Farcon25 and Devconnect BA). This time Eth Boulder/Denver Scavenger Hunt.

Summary

Like previous iterations, this will be a combination of GPS POAPs, IYK disc, food challenge. The idea is to bring all of crypto together during Eth Boulder/Denver to get to know each other outside of an event that’s not drug/alcohol centered. A scavenger hunt will help all get to know the city by taking you on a curated experience. And if you are a Colorado resident you can view it from the lens of outsiders.

With over 100+ participants in Buenos Aires, evergreen content being made and folks enjoying the challenges, Collective Nouns has an opportunity to have a presence at Eth Boulder/Denver. With this being my third iteration, I know what to expect and have learned a lot from the previous two.

Lessons learned from Farcon and Buenos Aires. Completionist rewards, producing evergreen content works well. Centralized location of all images/videos and Lil Scavenger Hunt but decentralized (IPFS). Posting will be done in a /lilscavegener channel.

Cost

The costs presented are only a portion of what it takes to run this event. Collective Nouns funds will be leverage strategically that are in line with the DAO.

0.8 ETH Total = ~$2,500. A breakdown of costs are below:

• 7 POAPs x $150 =$1050
  • (5) POAP will be paid to 2 Yellow Collective Artist $150 for each POAP to meet deadline
  • (2) POAPs will be a Nouns GG round, open to anyone, no double dipping

Prize Money = $650 this will be used to entice people to participate

• $150 best video/content
• 3rd place prize $100 + Collective Noun
• $100 best picture

Marketing = $500

• Design for pin $150
• Pins $350

Ops for Gramajo = $300

Deliverables

Collective Nouns will be featured on our website, our CTA for content and mentioned during updates and livestream. Rounds, POAP art all onchain. There will be other sponsors but the deliverables and costs are completely different for other sponsors so no overlap in requests and commitments. Fun way to showcase the art/creativity of Collective Noun Artists.
