### Summary
This proposal seeks funding to host a side event at Coinfest Asia in Bali from August 25-28, 2024. The event, titled "BuilderDAO Days at Dewata Island," aims to introduce and educate the community about blockchain technology, Nouns Build, and BuilderDAO. Additionally, we will launch our children's storybook, "Noun Lost In Nusantara: The Lost Cendrawasih," showcasing the real-world impact of DAOs. ### Context
Coinfest Asia is a significant blockchain and crypto event in Asia, taking place on August 22-23, 2024, in Bali. As part of Coinfest Asia, there is an opportunity for communities to host side events during Coinfest Week. This provides a unique platform for us to highlight the innovative work and values of BuilderDAO and Nouns Build, engage with a diverse audience, and foster meaningful connections within the blockchain community.

### Proposal
We propose to:

- Host a side event titled **"BuilderDAO Days at Dewata Island"** from August 25-28, 2024, targeting 100-150 participants.
- Conduct sessions and interactive activities to educate attendees about DAOs, blockchain technology, and specifically Nouns Build and BuilderDAO.
- Launch and distribute our children's storybook, **"Noun Lost In Nusantara: The Lost Cendrawasih"** as a tangible demonstration of DAO impact.
- Engage with attendees to build connections and promote the positive potential of blockchain technology.

### Alignment with Mission/Vision
This event aligns with BuilderDAO's mission to promote blockchain technology and DAO mechanisms. By showcasing Nouns Build and BuilderDAO, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of DAOs and their potential for driving positive change.
Objectives:

- **Generate New Users:** We plan to attract and engage a diverse audience, introducing them to the innovative concepts of DAOs and blockchain technology. This will help in expanding the user base and increasing awareness about BuilderDAO and Nouns Build.
- **Generate New DAO Members:** By providing educational content and interactive sessions, we aim to recruit new members into the DAO community. This event will serve as a platform for individuals to learn about the benefits and opportunities of joining a DAO, thereby expanding our community.
- **Generate New Founders:** We are committed to inspiring and encouraging potential founders to explore opportunities within the DAO space. By showcasing successful projects and offering networking opportunities, we hope to inspire new entrepreneurs to initiate their own projects and contribute to the DAO ecosystem.

The event will also highlight our commitment to community engagement and real-world impact through the launch of our children's storybook, which underscores our dedication to utilizing blockchain technology for positive social outcomes.

We will:

- Provide a detailed budget and timeline for the event.
- Offer regular updates on the event's progress.
- Encourage community feedback and participation in the planning process.
- Measure success through attendee engagement, feedback, and the impact of the storybook distribution.

### Treasury Impact
We are requesting a total of **3.6 ETH or 11.429 USDC (price as of July 25, 2024)** to cover the internal development team, event expenses, including venue rental, materials, marketing, and producing the children's storybook **"Noun Lost In Nusantara: The Lost Cendrawasih"**. This amount represents a small percentage of the BuilderDAO treasury and will be used to maximize the event's impact and outreach.

The following budget breakdown provides a detailed overview of the estimated costs associated with hosting the **"BuilderDAO Days at Dewata Island"** side event at Coinfest Asia in Bali from August 25-28, 2024.
