# BuilderDAO and Nouns Builder's DAOs at Nouns Town

## tl:dr: Two activations during Nouns Town event in LA for a BuilderDAO/Nouns Builder presence

Nouns DAO has funded the first Nouns focused conference/event in LA October 9-11. Learn more here: https://nounstown.wtf/ 

This prop seeks to fund two events for BuilderDAO/Nouns Builder proliferation. This will provide BuilderDAO and the DAOs on Nouns Builder a presence and opportunity to share the efforts of our DAOs. It will also serve as an opportunity for members of Nouns Builder DAOs to meetup regardless of whether or not they are attending the other events.

## Welcome to Nouns Town Happy Hour - 2.3 ETH

Host a Happy Hour on the rooftop of Hotel Erwin in Venice Beach the day before the summit as a welcome event to those attending, as well as inviting all Nouns Builder DAO members to join. Prof held an event during FarCon at this location and it provides a comfortable lounge atmosphere and great view of Venice Beach. ## Bagels & Builders Happy Friday at Menotti's - 1 ETH

Host a morning meetup on Friday October 11 9:30 am at Menotti's in Venice Beach. Friday's Nouns Town events will be spread out around LA with a couple of these events focused in Venice Beach, including one with The Park and another with Nouns Breakers. This will be a great starting point for those other events, as well as serving as another opportunity for Nouns Builder DAO members (like Purple) to meetup even if they are not attending other events that day. Menotti's is owned and operated by Derek G. Taylor of The Park and he will be coordinating this event with Prof Werder's assistance.

## Kendamas by Kendama DAO - .5 ETH

At each of the events above, Kendama DAO will be providing custom nounish purple kendamas as a swag giveaway. We'll also have our purple noggles to give away at these events as well (no additional funding needed for the noggles).

## Rounds.wtf for proliferation - .2 ETH

Launch a round in the /builder channel on October 8 to have attendees at these events cast in the /builder channel with the kendamas and noggles for an opportunity to earn eth. This will help to incentivize proliferation from the events.

## BuilderDAO in the Maker Space

During the summit events on Wednesday October 9, we'll have an opportunity to include BuilderDAO logos/images to be used in creating tshirts and other merch in the maker space. No funding is needed for this activation.

# **Northstar Check**

### The BuilderDAO mission is to develop DAO infrastructure as a public good, enabling decentralized, inclusive, and transparent decision-making processes that empower onchain communities to shape their collective futures.

This proposal furthers that mission by providing an opportunity for members of DAOs on Builder to meetup IRL and provide those wanting to learn more an opportunity to do so. This is also a great opportunity to support a Nouns project and be connected with the larger activation.


## **Treasury Impact**

Total ask for this proposal is 4 ETH which will have a minimal impact on the treasury.
