Problem

• This event addresses an important problem in DAO ecosystems: the difficulty in taking a novel idea and turning it into actionable, well-supported proposals. While ensuring you’re proposing the right grant system or DAO. Many builders and innovators generate valuable insights at events, but these often fail to live on past events and turn into real projects that create change.
• Our event solves the problem by:
  • Creating a structured pipeline for Curating attendees, Facilitating work groups, and Preserving the Ideas for after the event.
  • Providing multiple experienced prospectives on how to take their idea to the next level with the support of the right DAO.
  • Open-sourcing the generated ideas to benefit future builders beyond just the event participants.
• This initiative innovates by:
  • Establishing a streamlined process for turning brainstorming sessions into recorded ideas.
  • Bringing together Artists and developers to help artists grow past their reliance on larger platforms.
  • Leveraging recorded sessions and Multiple experienced DAO contributors to empower the Ideas after the event.
  • By structuring and scaling idea development across DAOs, we aim to increase the success rate of early-stage projects and accelerate innovation within the broader ecosystem.

What Does Success Look Like?

Idea Generation & Open Sourcing

• At least 3 novel ideas generated from brainstorming sessions.
• Compilation and publication of these ideas for future builders to access and iterate upon.

Proposal Development & Support

• Establishment of a structured pipeline where representatives from at least 3 DAOs provide guidance on funding opportunities and development pathways.

Event Attendance

• Up to 15 Developers and 15 Artists in attendance and participating in the ideation session.

Follow-up & Future Impact

• Creation of a dedicated communication channel in the Burrito DAO Discord for continued collaboration on promising ideas.

By capturing and structuring these ideas effectively, we aim to create a lasting impact beyond the event itself.

Builder DAO is dedicated to the creation and development of free and accessible DAO infrastructure as a public good.

This proposal furthers the mission to create and develop free and accessible DAO infrastructure by empowering the best work groups from our event to seek additional support from DAOs. Based on their Idea we can guide them on where to apply and how to format a proposal. This will educate both the artists and developers on how they can interact with a DAO by proposing and contributing.

Treasury Impact

The total Amount requested is 0.3 ETH to enhance the quality of the event and to include BuilderDAO’s presence in branding, signage, and as one of the DAOs that work groups from this event could potentially look to for support.
