I am an active contributor in the nounish ecosystem and a member of the Nouns Builder DAO operations team, where my work focuses on coordination, partnerships, and execution. I support communities building across the Nouns Builder ecosystem and help identify strategic fundraising opportunities for the DAO.
Over the past several months, I have led planning and negotiation efforts to secure Nouns Builder’s participation at ETH Boulder and ETHDenver, coordinating with event organizers, partner DAOs, and production teams. This residency role is intentionally practical: stewarding relationships, supporting builders and communities, and ensuring Nouns Builder shows up in an organized, welcoming, and values-aligned way.
Planning & Negotiation Context (January Work)
The January portion of this request reflects substantial advance planning and negotiation already completed on behalf of Nouns Builder to secure meaningful participation at both ETH Boulder and ETHDenver.
This work includes:
- Coordinating directly with ETH Boulder and ETHDenver organizers
- Submitting and securing acceptance of a half-day speaking track at ETH Boulder focused on DAOs & Coordinative Tooling
- Negotiating stage access, MakerSpace participation, and gallery inclusion for builder-aligned communities
- Aligning Nouns Builder’s role within broader event programming rather than as a side or add-on activity
- Designing a multi-day presence that supports DAOs built on Nouns Builder, not just a single project
- Coordinating with production partners to scope a mini-documentary that accurately reflects the Nouns Builder ecosystem
Much of this effort occurred prior to any formal proposal and required sustained coordination, relationship-building, and follow-through. The January governance NFTs recognize this foundational work, which made the February execution phase possible.
Scope of Work
1. Representing Nouns Builder
- Act as on-site stewards representing Nouns Builder at ETH Boulder and ETHDenver
- Serve as a point of contact between Nouns Builder, event organizers, and participating communities
- Ensure Nouns Builder is positioned as enabling coordination, experimentation, and governance across its ecosystem
2. Facilitating Space for Nouns Builder Communities
- Coordinate and host programming for DAOs built on Nouns Builder, including:
- Informal meetups and working sessions
- Builder conversations and demos
- Cross-DAO introductions and collaboration
- Facilitate usage of shared spaces so Builder communities can participate without friction
- Help onboard new builders and organizers interested in launching or experimenting with Nouns Builder
3. ETH Boulder Programming (Feb 13–15)
- Curate and run a half-day talk + workshop series at ETH Boulder focused on:
- DAOs & Coordinative Tooling
- Governance infrastructure and experimentation
- Lessons learned from DAOs built with Nouns Builder
- Highlight Nouns Builder as a practical, production-ready coordination layer for onchain communities
4. ETHDenver Programming & Builder Support (Feb 16–21)
- Support builders and DAOs participating in ETHDenver through:
- Mentorship and guidance
- Follow-up conversations with teams interested in Nouns Builder
- Coordinate sessions and programming connected to Builder-aligned initiatives
- Facilitate space, support, and media coverage of BuilderDAO aligned community activations.
Hackathon Context
ETHDenver hackathon participation requires a minimum $10k sponsorship (reduced from the standard $33k). Requesting that level of funding directly from the Nouns Builder treasury was not desirable at this time.
Instead, hackathon participation is being pursued via a separate Nouns DAO proposal (Prop 921). If that proposal passes, Nouns Builder’s presence at ETHDenver would be extended to include a mini hackathon track in partnership with Gnars DAO.
If hackathon participation does proceed, this residency ensures that activity is supported, coordinated, and integrated into the broader Nouns Builder programming. If it does not, this proposal still delivers full value through talks, MakerSpace activity, community facilitation, and documentation.
5. Mini-Documentary Oversight
- Oversee production of a ~15-minute mini-documentary covering the full Denver week
- Ensure Nouns Builder is accurately and meaningfully represented, including:
- DAO use cases
- Builder stories
- Community coordination in practice
- Serve as the liaison between the production team and Nouns Builder contributors

- ETH Boulder and ETHDenver provide concentrated access to builders, DAO operators, and new communities
- Nouns Builder benefits from active stewardship, not passive presence
- Facilitating multiple Builder communities in shared space strengthens network effects
- The resulting documentation becomes a durable asset showcasing Nouns Builder in real-world use

This proposal requests 10 Nouns Builder governance NFTs:
- 5 NFTs for January — recognizing planning, negotiation, coordination, and proposal work already completed to secure Nouns Builder’s presence at ETH Boulder and ETHDenver
- 5 NFTs for February — supporting on-site execution, community facilitation, and post-event follow-up during and after the events
This structure distinguishes between advance work that enabled the opportunity and execution work required to deliver on it.

- Regional transportation
This ensures the role can be executed sustainably across the full ETH Boulder + ETHDenver week (Feb 13–21).
