This proposal renews my Builder DAO Community Resident role for May - July 2026, following four months of volunteer work supporting community operations, governance coordination, contributor guidance, and ecosystem communication. The renewed role continues that core support while expanding into ecosystem growth and product feedback, including Artizen fund stewardship, grant sourcing, project support, and coordination with the Tech Pod on nouns.build frontend improvements.

Core Responsibilities

Community Operations & Support

• Primary management of Builder DAO Discord (daily monitoring, moderation, support tickets)
• Respond to support inquiries across Discord, Farcaster, X, and DMs
• Maintain a high-signal environment for builders and contributors
• Support onboarding for new builders and DAOs

Governance & Coordination

• Facilitate proposal discussions and governance participation
• Create and manage proposal discussion channels, voting alerts, etc
• Assist contributors with proposal writing, review, and submission
• Coordinate with the Tech Pod and contributors on feedback and alignment
• Track proposals and ecosystem activity

Communication & Content

• Publish Builder Buzz newsletter (this has been on a hiatus but will be returning)
• Share governance updates, ecosystem highlights, and calls-to-action
• Summarize Builder DAO calls and product discussions for transparency and accessibility
• Repost content from builders and DAOs in the ecosystem on X

Expanded Scope

Product & UX Contributions

• Coordinate with the Tech Pod to implement frontend improvements across nouns.build
• Surface user feedback, pain points, and feature requests from the community
• Help prioritize UX improvements that improve onboarding, usability, and conversion
• I've already contributed the following frontend improvements:
  • DAO ordering and hiding
  • DAO favorites on the explore page
  • Profile preview hover popup
  • Dark mode (WIP)
  • Updated about page (WIP)

Artizen Fund Support

• Help shepherd the Artizen fund within the Builder ecosystem
• Support projects with onboarding, positioning, and artifact sales

Grant Sourcing

• Proactively identify and pursue grant opportunities for Builder DAO and its ecosystem
• I've initiated engagement with the Stellar Community Fund and begun working on an application for the next funding round
• Coordinate applications, partnerships, and follow-through

Mission Alignment

Builder DAO exists to create and maintain open, accessible DAO infrastructure as a public good, and this role supports that mission by providing reliable guidance to builders and DAOs, increasing governance participation, improving usability through UX feedback, attracting new capital and opportunities, and strengthening the health and growth of Builder-based DAOs.
