It is my hope that the other members of Builder Dao differentiate this proposal from one seeking seed funding to seed a DAO. The purpose of this proposal is to kickstart the education and onboarding of hundreds of organizations over the next 5 years, providing significant brand exposure and ample case studies for nouns.build and Builder Dao, by sponsoring the launch of The First 500 Campaign. We have a large team of developers within the BaD community who look forward to aligning development goals with the nouns.build tech pod, and a growing community of diverse talent organizing as NounsDaoAfrica on Nouns.build. This campaign employs all of those skillsets leveraging community resources to help bring web3 to the youngest population on earth.

I respect the ambition of this proposal and see the potential for impact, but I believe it is premature for Builder DAO to fund at this stage. The initiative would benefit from demonstrating more traction and results before seeking financial support. This also feels like a strong candidate for milestone-based funding, where deliverables are tied to phased disbursements rather than a lump sum upfront.

I think this is an interesting idea but I'm not convinced that this is the right prop at the right time. I'd love to see an initiative like this possibly brought to Base for a grant as I think they also could be helpful connecting with other Base builders in that area. Due to our limited funds, I'm just being extra cautious at this time and think there could be other funding for this particular initiative. I'm abstaining with my larger wallet to allow for others who may feel strongly in a different direction to have a opportunity to have their votes counted.
